The Nubia Red Magic 5G was launched a few days ago to compete with other major gaming phones. Let us see today whether the Nubia Red Magic 5G is worth buying for a premium price?

Design

The Nubia Red Magic 5G has a design quite synonymous to the latest Gaming phones with flashy and aggressive colours, an RGB lighting panel at the back and a beautiful clear edition as well. The device is completely made up of Glass with an Alumunium frame which means that the device looks and feels Funky yet sturdy.

Display

The Nubia Red Magic 5G comes with a 6.65 inch Amoled panel with a resolution of FHD+. The device also has an enhanced refresh rate of 144hz which is among the highest display refresh rates present in any device. The device also has Corning's gorilla Glass for protection. Overall, the quality of the display panel is quite good.

Performance

The Performance is a spectrum where you do not have to worry as the Nubia Red Magic 5G comes with the latest and greatest chipset from Snapdragon- The Snapdragon 865. This makes it one of the best performance device and to that adding Nubia's fine tuning and things like an in-built cooling fan, the performance may even be the best overall performance for a flagship device or otherwise.

Cameras

The Nubia Red Magic 5G comes with a triple camera setup with a primary 64 megapixel sensor paired with a 8 megapixel ultrawide sensor and a 2 megapixel macro sensor. The hardware seems fine but we have to keep in mind the primary focus of a gaming phone and as such cannot expect exceptional performance from the cameras. So, the cameras are good but nowhere near flagship grade.

Verdict

The Biggest question of all, Should you buy it? Well i think it is a good device and if you really are a serious gamer, well then you've met your dream phone.
