Realme Narzo Series “Dear Realme-
Stop IT!!!”
The Realme
Narzo series was recently introduced In India and it is supposedly launched for
those who are performance driven and is basically tailored around millennials,
but it seems that Realme is so lost with it’s new X3 Zoom and the 60x milky way
option, that they evidently found extraterrestrial life and have made the Narzo
series for the inhabitants of Mars, because if this is what Realme thinks the
millennials want which is basically rebranded expensive junk then in that world,
the Essential Ph-1 was a success!. To those who don’t understand what i am
trying to say, do refer the blog posts for the Realme Narzo 10 and 10A. Let us
discuss what Realme has done wrong and why according to me their success is
soon going to be ‘Captured!’
Case 1: The New Narzo 10A
Let me get
this straight to those thinking this is a completely new phone, wake up and get
out of the Fanboy world. See, i am not against rebranding but this device is’nt
a device that makes sense since most rebranded devices are devices available in
other markets but launched in another market as a specific version or under a
new moniker. However, the Narzo 10A is the mild update (Mild as in the mild
pulses found in prison). This is the rebranded version of the C3 Indonesian
version which is basically the minor tweaked variant of the C3 found in India.
The Main differences include a small tiny camera which does not aid to the
device’s camera performance in any substantial manner (A wide angle would have
been better Realme!) and a finger-print sensor. To those who have not noticed
this is quite similar to what Samsung did with the A10 and the A10s but here
instead of doing something like Xiaomi or Samsung, they made the device a part
of another series. Some of you may say that, the design is different, yes it is
but don’t you think with the logo on the Narzo 10A Realme has indirectly told
us no need to buy the X3 zoom, without zoom only you can tell it is a Realme
Product. Sorry to stray off topic, this is aggressive branding and may appeal
to some but according to me it just looks cheap and weird. In conclusion you
pay 1k rupees extra for a fingerprint sensor and a useless camera of 2
megapixels, so in my opinion don’t buy the Narzo 10A it’s just a medium for
Realme to increase sales. Also I would like to commend Realme a supposed value
driven brand that they should have just given these features in the Realme C3
if they wanted to prove their ideals, but this is proof of a company being a
company and putting sales ahead of everything!.
Case 2 : The Bigger (FLOP) Narzo 10
So let me get this straight the person thinking of the Narzo 10 was like “We have a great device at 14k, but 12k is missing so let’s make our consumers fools and make a poor device which should have been around 9k or 10k at 12k and let them buy it”. Fun fact after this he went to work on 10A!!. Ok on a serious note now, the Narzo 10 is the Realme 6i and it seems good but not for the price. First of all Realme should stick with their branding and continuation cause now it’s like Realme 3i, 5i and then not 6i, the Narzo 10. Don’t get me wrong the device is not bad but some issues like the launch of the Realme 6, the lack of an FHD+ display and a lackluster pricing are the primary reasons for this device not being good. I get that you are getting 4+128 gig variant but their own Realme 6 at 14k is a great value for money proposition.
Conclusion
So, in the end I want to send a message to Realme,
this is not a contest of numbers, slow down your pace, enhance your software
support, improve upon your product and listen to your consumers, otherwise I
feel the end of Realme will be coming soon!
This should be stop now
