The Samsung Galaxy S20 was introduced alongside the Samsung Galaxy S20+, S20 Ultra and the Galaxy Z Flip. Let us see whether the base entrant of the S20 series is worth buying and whether it should be your next device.

Design

The Samsung Galaxy S20 comes with a design quite similar to most flagship devices available in the premium flagship device segment. It is the same slab of glass with simple colours and Gorilla Glass for protection against falls and scrapes. Overall, the device feels quite premium in the hand.

Display

The Samsung Galaxy S20 comes with a 6.2 inch display with a resolution of QHD+. The device also has HDR10 for content consumption and a 120 hertz refresh rate for smooth performance. The device also works at 120 hertz for most of the times but it supports only FHD+ resolution at 120 hertz, so for best media consumption you will have to keep the device at 60 hertz. Overall, the display has one of the best colour acccuracies and quality available all around.

Performance

The Samsung Galaxy S20 comes with a differing chipset, because in the US and Canada, the device comes with a Snapdragon 865 processor while, in other markets the device comes with a Exynos 990 processor. Both the processors are great but, the 865 is the best of the best and for the price of the S20, people expect the best specs. However, the performance is the best for an android device.

Cameras

The Samsung Galaxy S20 comes with a triple camera setup with a primary 12 megapixel sensor,a 64 megapixel telephoto sensor and another 12 megapixel ultra wide sensor. The device also comes with a 10 megapixel sensor for selfies. The device however has one fo the best cameras out there.

Verdict
The Samsung Galaxy S20 comes with a good camera, a great display, a powerful processor and all this comes at a starting price of 67000 rupees for the S20 and 73000 rupees for the S20+(with a 6.7 inch display). The device may seem to be good, but at that price, the device is not the best and the cheapest iPhone is a. Bit cheaper Than the S20.
