The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max was launched alongside the Redmi Note 9 Pro. Let us see whether it is worth buying and whether it deserves to be called "PRO MAX"?

Design

The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max looks and feels really similar to the Redmi Note 9 Pro. The device also has a similar glass build to the Redmi Note 9 Pro. The device. Also has the same simple gradient finish to the Redmi Note 9 Pro. Overall the design is quite good.

Display

The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max comes with a 6.67 inch FHD+ display which is an LCD Display. It is the same panel as the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. However, it also has the same problem of not having a 90 hertz display found on the cheaper Realme 6. Overall the display is good but the lack of a high refresh rate makes it a less compelling buy.

Performance

The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max comes with the same Snapdragon 720G as the Redmi Note 9 Pro. Overall, the performance is good but loses out to the Snapdragon 730G found on the Poco X2 which costs just 1000 rupees more.

Cameras

The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max comes with a 64 megapixel primary camera which is a Samsung sensor paired with a 8 megapixel ultra wide sensor, a 5megapixel macro camera and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. Overall, the cameras are quite good.

Verdict

The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is a good device and for 15k it is a really good device plagued only by a 60 hertz display.
