Samsung A30s
The Samsung A30s comes with a polycarbonate back which is essentially plastic. This may seem like a bit of a bummer considering the fact that the devices under 10k nowadays have glass builds but the device seems sturdy. It comes in 3 colours prism purple, black and white which is a special colour scheme with half diamond cut finish and half gradient finish.
The A30s comes with a triple camera setup with a primary 25 megapixel camera paired with a 8 megapixel wide angle sensor and a 5megapixel depth sensor. The cameras supposedly have good performance but seem to lack in overall dynamic range and sharpness an area where 48 or 64 megapixel sensors seem to shine. THe cameras are good but they are not amongst the best.
The Samsung A30s seems to be average in every single department be it the display, the performance or even the cameras. So, Who is the device really for? Actually this device is for those who want the Samsung experience at an affordable price and want a special design for a not so premium rate. For the average consumer this device makes a faint amount of sense but is not the obvious choice for any specific area.

The Samsung A30s was launched back in August of 2019 as part of the s series from Samsung which are incremental updates from the usual A series devices. It is an entrant in the hotly contested mid range segment. Let's see whether you should buy the A30s or you should skip this device.
Design
Display
The A30s comes with a 6.4 inch display with a resolution of HD+ which may also seem to be a bit of a downgrade. It comes with Amoled technology but for the price most devices have FHD+ displays which are better in terms of quality. The display is good but not as good as devices in it's budget.
Performance
The A30s comes with the Exynos 7904 processor which is a relatively new processor from Samsung made to compete with the likes of the Helio P70 and the Snapdragon 660. It can perform well but frankly at it's price the device is no performance champion.
Cameras
The A30s comes with a triple camera setup with a primary 25 megapixel camera paired with a 8 megapixel wide angle sensor and a 5megapixel depth sensor. The cameras supposedly have good performance but seem to lack in overall dynamic range and sharpness an area where 48 or 64 megapixel sensors seem to shine. THe cameras are good but they are not amongst the best.
Verdict
The Samsung A30s seems to be average in every single department be it the display, the performance or even the cameras. So, Who is the device really for? Actually this device is for those who want the Samsung experience at an affordable price and want a special design for a not so premium rate.
