Oppo Reno 2
The Oppo Reno 2 was launched as the successor to the very popular Reno device from Oppo. It came with new and innovative features at a lower price which made it ideal for purchasing. Let us see whether Oppo has hit the ball out of the park for the second consecutive time.
Design
The Oppo Reno 2 comes with a special design made up entirely of glass. The device looks quite premium with a few special colours and a different looking cutout in the middle which states 'Designed By Oppo'. This is some subtle branding which aids in a new and special kind of design language.
Display
The Oppo Reno 2 comes with a 6.5 inch display with Amoled technology. The device has a resolution of FHD. It also has a small chin with a shark fin pop up module which houses the selfie camera. The display technology is quite Morden and makes it one of the highest screen-to-body ratio devices.
Performance
The Oppo Reno 2 comes with a Snapdragon 730G chipset. It is a relatively new chipset which is a gaming chipset with high performance. The device performs quite well but is not a performance device and loses out to some other devices under 30k with a 8 series chipset.
Cameras
The Oppo Reno 2 comes with a quad camera setup that houses a primary 48 megapixel Sony IMX 586 sensor paired with a 13 megapixel telephoto camera, a 8 megapixel wide angle camera and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. The device also houses a 16 megapixel selfie camera. It has a special 20x zoom in the device which is one of highest zooming device.
Verdict
The Oppo Reno 2 houses a great pair of cameras, a good processor and a nice display. Considering the fact that it costs 35k it is not the best device out there, but if you have no issues with Chinese devices, then this is the best all rounder device in it's budget period.
