Oppo K3
The Oppo K3 was launched as part of the K series from Oppo as part of Oppo's attempt to gain back the lost market share from the likes of Oneplus, Samsung and Realme. Let us see whether the K3 is actually worth it.
Design
The Oppo K3 comes with a gradient design which seems to be quite similar to the Reno series from Oppo but with some subtle changes. The colours somewhat vary from Reno series. It looks good and stands out from the crowd with it's unique gradients.
Display
The Oppo K3 comes with a 6.5 inch display which is an Amoled display with a resolution of FHD+. The display has a good screen-to-body ratio due to the presence of a pop up camera module and a slim bottom chin. The device also sports an in-display fingerprint sensor to the front.
Performance
The Oppo K3 comes with the Snapdragon 710 processor with the Adreno 616 GPU. The chipset is a very powerful budget chipset which can handle most task with ease. But, the processor has aged and frankly, the device could have come with a better processor.
Cameras
The Oppo K3 comes with a dual camera setup with a primary 16 megapixel sensor and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. It also houses a 16 megapixel selfie camera enclosed in a pop up module. The cameras are good but they lack the quality and versatility found on devices under 15k nowadays.
Verdict
The Oppo K3 comes with an average processor, a good display and average ameras. Considering the price of 16k, the device does not make sense to buy in late 2019. It is not a bad device but with a increased competition it loses out.
