OnePlus 6T
The OnePlus 6T was launched almost a year ago in 2018. It was part of the T series devices from OnePlus which are incremental devices from regular OnePlus devices launched in the starting of the year. Well, it has even more than a year since the launch of the 6T. Let us see whether it is a viable buy in 2019.
Design
The OnePlus 6T comes with a back panel made up of glass with a few different finishes. It comes in matte black, thunder purple and glossy black. It looks and feels quite good and has a premium hand feel with tons of grip for the matte black model and a slippery finish to the other colours.
Display
The OnePlus 6T comes with a 6.41 inch display which is a Optic Amoled display with a resolution of FHD+. The display has great quality and has good colour profiles. The display houses an in-display fingerprint sensor and a water drop notch with a thin chin. The display overall is quite good for it's budget.
Performance
The OnePlus 6T comes with the Snapdragon 845 processor which is a powerful processor from a year ago. It is quite good and comparable to the Kirin 980 and the Apple A12 bionic. The OnePLus 6T handles most task with ease and is much more powerful than other devices with the 845 due to OxygenOS.
Cameras
The OnePlus 6T comes with a dual camera setup with a primary 16 megapixel sensor paired with a 20 megapixel depth sensor. The cameras lack versatility but perform quite well and can take good pictures. The device also houses a 16 megapixel selfie camera which is good too.
Verdict
The OnePlus 6T performs quite well and is a device with a good set of cameras and great performance. When we see the device starts at 28-29k, the device seems to be an instant buy. For some lucky people the device can be found at as low as 27k on offer.
