Nokia 2.3
The Nokia 2.3 was recently launched in India as a budget offering from Nokia for the masses. Let us see whether the device is worth buying in 2020 where the budget segment has gotten very interesting and ultra competitive.
Design
The Nokia 2.3 comes in a simple polycarbonate finish with no gradient or special print. It comes in fixed colours which are actually a bit refreshing after the crazy new finishes found on today's devices. The device feels well built and as an added bonus is quite durable.
Display
The Nokia 2.3 comes with a 6.2 inch IPS LCD Panel with a resolution of HD+. The display is not the best display among it's competition but is certainly adequate. The chin on the bottom looks unsightly due to the thickness of the chin and the Nokia branding. However, the small water drop notch somewhat makes up for it.
Performance
The Nokia 2.3 comes with the Helio A22 in tow. The processor is a budget offfering from Mediatek. It is comparable to the likes of the Snapdragon 450 and the 439. The processor is adequate and for the price, you really can't complain. The experience is also a bit refined due to Nokia's stock android UI.
Cameras
The Nokia 2.3 comes with a dual camera setup with a primary 13 megapixel sensor paired with a 2 megapixel depth sensor. The device also comes with a 5megapixel selfie camera. The cameras are of average quality but are good for the budget offerings.
Verdict
The Nokia 2.3 comes with great featurres but unfortunately the device has a micro USB port which is a bit odd even in the budget segment. The device starts at 8.2k and for that price, if you need a device with stock android experience and a 4000 mah battery, this is the device for you.
