Motorola One Hyper
The Motorola One Hyper was launched yesterday as part of the One series in US yesterday. It seems to pack some good features at a not so high rate. Let us see whether the device is worth it In US or India.
Design
The Moto One Hyper comes in a variety of colours such as purple\ burgundy and blue and orange. The device is made of polycarbonate and some may say it lacks the premium feel of glass but this design in my opinion looks quite simple an is a more tougher body style which is a bit conservative.
Display
The display of the Moto One Hyper is a 6.5 inch display which is a FHD+ panel with LCD technology. It looks good but lacks the quality of Amoled displays. It also has somewhat of a thick chin that looks a bit unsightly. Overall the display is adequate but is not the best display in any matter.
Performance
The Moto One Hyper houses the Snapdragon 675 processor which is the most powerful 6 series processors from Snapdragon. THe chipset is usually found in 15-20k devices and is not meant for a device in it's budget. Don't get me wrong the performance is adequate but it wins no awards in the performance department in it's budget.
Cameras
The Moto One Hyper comes with a primary 64 megapixel camera paired with a 8 megapixel ultra wide sensor. It also houses a pop up front camera which is a 32 megapixel selfie camera, meaning high quality selfies are present. The cameras are good but lack telephoto and macro lenses which are common nowadays.
Verdict
The Motorola One Hyper comes with a good camera, an average chipset and a frankly conservative design. After the fact that it starts at 29k the device just does'nt make sense for buyers in India at least.
