LG G8x Thinq
The LG G8x Thinq was launched yesterday in India after being on sale for a while now. It comes with a few new features which are different from other things and features. Let us see whether the device is good or not.
Design
The LG G8x Thinq comes with a full glass body which looks quite simple and lacks any gradient or showy colours. It looks quite premium and feels like a premium well built device. It may be a bit fragile due to the glass design but with premium design this is a common concern.
Display
The LG G8x Thinq comes with a special feature in terms of it's display which is the fact that it comes with a case which doubles into a secondary display. The display is a P-OLED Display with a resolution of FHD+ which is a 6.4 inch display. There is one small oddity which is the fact that the secondary display also comes with a notch which is fake.
Performance
The LG G8x Thinq comes with the Snapdragon 855 procesor which has aged somehow as the 865 has already been launched. The processor however is quite good and performs well in every scenario and handles major heat title games well too.
Cameras
The LG G8x Thinq comes with a no frills dual camera setup with a primary 12 megapixel sensor paired with a 13 megapixel sensor which is a wide angle sensor. It also houses a 32 megapixel selfie camera. It has good quality and it's wide angle camera takes bright and detailed pictures in day as well as in night.
Verdict
The LG G8x Thinq comes with an average display, a good processor and admirable cameras. It however is priced at 50k, and at it's price it does not have any great features and it's second display is good but for most mainstream users it is not advisable as it seems to make very little sense.
