The Google Pixel 3 XL was launched a year ago as the successor to the Pixel 2 and 2 XL. It has already been succeeded by the Pixel 4 lineup, but it is still good enough to be bought now. Let's see if you should buy the Pixel 3XL in 2019.

Design

The Pixel 3 XL comes with a glass back with a frosted finish. It is the potent Pixel design trend which seems quite good and is different from other devices. It comes in three colours, just black, clearly white and not pink. It looks and feels quite premium even today and has one of the best build quality devices can offer today.

Display

The Pixel 3 XL comes with a 6.3 inch OLED Panel with a resolution of QHD+. The display has a few issues which are it's chin and the notch. The chin is fat and the notch is known as the bathtub notch due to increased length of the notch which makes it frankly unsightly.

Performance

The Pixel 3 XL comes with the Snapdragon 845 processor which is a flagship processor from a year ago. It performs quite well even today and can handle most tasks with ease and due to Google's OS, increased performance is a feature in the Pixel 3 XL.

Cameras

The Pixel 3 XL comes with a single camera which is a 12 megapixel camera. I know, most people must be thinking, what can a single camera do in 2019, but honestly speaking, the device has one of the best cameras of all time which can compete with devices in the premium segment even today.

Verdict

The Pixel 3 XL comes with a good display, a powerful processor and one of the best cameras of all time. Considering the price of 58k, if you want a no nonsense camera phone under 60k, this is the device to beat.

So,for this special occasion I am reviewing a device which is wildly under appreciated and one which has actually helped Google a lot even though it may not seem so.
