Samsung M40


The Samsung M40 was launched some time ago to take the flagship position in the Samsung M series lineup. Let us see whether it is actually worthy of being the flasgship device of the M series.

Design


The Samsung M40 comes with a plastic back. It is not as fancy and not as good in quality as glass. It looks good but may be prone to scratches, overall it is better than glass due to better protection and reliability in comparison to glass devices.

Display


The Samsung Galaxy M40 comes with a 6.3 inch FHD+ display with a Super- Amoled display. It also houses a 16 megapixel camera in the form of a Infinity-O Panel. It is the best display in terms of color and quality found in it's budget.

Performance



The Samsung M40 comes with a Snapdragon 675 processor which is a good processor but when you consider that devices in the sub 15 k price bracket come with Snapdragon 700 series processors it seems to lack the top grade specs in it's price.

Camera



The Samsung M40 comes with a triple camera setup with a 32 megapixel primary camera, a 8 megapixel wide angle camera and a 5 megapixel depth camera. It is a good setup but when we consider that there are devices at 11k with better cameras it does not seem to be a good deal.

Performance

The Samsung M40 comes with a good display but with mediocre specs and a subpar camera it just can't seem to justify the 20k rupee asking price.

So,for this special occasion I am reviewing a device which is wildly under appreciated and one which has actually helped Google a lot even though it may not seem so. In this device, instead of glass, polycarbonate has been used for obvious cost cutting, but this has made the device appear the same but with increased durability. Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is the flagship device from Samsung for the year 2020.
