Samsung A80 " Is Innovation Enough To Justify It's Price"

The Samsung A80 was launched a few months back, with a levy of innovative features with some minor shortcomings. Let us see whether it actually is worth buying in this world of OnePlus and Mi.

Design

The Samsung A80 comes with a plastic back which is a poly carbonate back that may appear as cheap to some, but is much more durable than glass backs. The device comes in simple colors, grey, white and pink. The devices appear to be quite simple and may not appeal to some.

Display

The Samsung A80 comes with a 6.7 inch FHD+ Display which is an Amoled Display. It is quite a good panel and has great color tones and good viewing angles. It comes with a full screen display with a flip camera that doubles as a selfie camera.

Cameras

The A80 comes with a 48 megapixel primary camera, a 8 megapixel ultrawide camera and a 3D camera. This also doubles as a selfie camera which means that the device is one of the best selfie devices available.

Performance

The Samsung A80 comes with a Snapdragon 730G that is a good processor. But, when you consider that the device at 20k comes with a better chipset, the value of the device loses appeal. But considering the chipset the performance is quite good and can handle heavy tasks easily.

Verdict

The Samsung A80 comes with a good display, a good set of cameras and an average display. But, when you consider that it starts at 40k, it loses it's appeal and frankly for that price you're better of with a OnePlus device. But, if you want a flagship Samsung and can't afford the S Series device, this is your safest bet.
