Realme X " Is It Worth The Price"?
The Realme X was launched a while ago. It had a few firsts in it's budget and was supposed to rival the Redmi K20. Let us see whether it actually makes sense to spend so much on a phone from Realme.
Design
The Realme X comes with a plastic back with a glossy panel. They come in a variety of finishes ranging from crystal styled white, blue and a special Onion and Garlic edition. These may look quirky but appear very different from most devices in it's competition. These however are glass back panels and a little safety is advised.
Display
The Realme X comes with a 6.53 inch FHD+ Amoled Display. It is a very good panel with bright and accurate colors, inky deep blacks and an amazing sharpness in details. It also houses the device's Fingerprint sensor in the form of an In-Display Fingerprint sensor. It looks quite nice and seems to be one of the best panels under the 20k budget. It also comes with Gorilla Glass 5 for protection.
Performance
The Realme X comes with a Snapdragon 710 chip set. It also has an Adreno 616 GPU. It actually performs quite well but considering it's price devices in the sub 15k budget have started coming out with the Snapdragon 712 which is a minor upgrade to the 710. It has the capacity to do moderate to heavy tasks with ease. They are in no way weak but upgrades have already been introduced.
Cameras
The Realme X comes with a 16 megapixel popup camera. It also has a dual camera setup with a primary 48 megapixel camera, a 5 megapixel depth sensor. It makes it one of the good camera phones in the budget.
Verdict
The Realme X comes with a few modern features and a good camera with a slightly weak but in no way bad processor. Considering that it is available for a price of rupees 16000 or 17000( W.O Offers) it is suitable only for those who want a phone for showing off and who consider it a style statement.
