OnePlus 7 Pro
The OnePlus 7 Pro was launched a while back in May of 2019. It was very well received by most viewers and even received phone of the year awards from some. However, the 7 Pro has already been succeeded by the 7T series. Let us see whether the device is now worth it's price.
Design
The OnePlus 7 Pro comes with a Full glass back design. It looks quite good and lacks any gradient finish which in turn looks quite sophisticated and makes the device look very high class and somber. It however is fully glass and is prone to scratching and scuffs that may look very bad if it gets damaged. Hence, the device should be used with a case at all times.
Display
The OnePlus 7 Pro comes with a 6.67 inch Amoled Display with a WHD+ Display with a resolution of 1440*3120. The device lacking any physical camera on the display also has a great screen-to-body ratio. It is a great display with great colors and a rich and vivid screen which wraps around the body similar to Samsung Displays. The device aces the display department quite nicely. The device also has a 90 hertz display that is very smooth and is super speedy and easy to use.
Performance
The OnePlus 7 Pro comes with a Snapdragon 855 chipset that loses out only to the 855+ found on the 7T devices. The 855 however does not lose out in any way and can handle any task with ease. The device is one of the best performers and the 855 paired with the great display makes the device buttery smooth to use.
Cameras
The OnePlus 7 Pro comes with a triple camera setup with a primary 48 megapixel sensor, a 16 megapixel ultrawide camera and a 8 megapixel depth sensor. The device has one of the best cameras in it's budget and loses out only to the Flagship devices from Samsung, Apple and Huawei.
Verdict
The OnePlus 7 Pro comes with good cameras, an excellent display and a great processor. It only loses out to the 7T Pro by the processor and a few minor upgrades. Considering the starting price of 45k the device is 9k cheaper than the 7T Pro and for the price, the 7 Pro is better and cheaper and you should buy it for sure.
