Motorola One Macro
The Motorola One Macro was launched as part of the One series from Motorola. The device is a competitor to devices in the 8-10k range. Let's see whether the device can compete in the budget range.
Design
The Motorola One Macro comes with a plastic body made up of polycarbonate, commonly found in it's budget. The device also comes with a gradient that some may say is similar to Vivo or Realme. The device feels sturdy but lacks the premium feeling found in redmi devices. The device is less prone to damage as it has a plastic build.
Display
The Moto One Macro comes with a 6.2 inch FHD+ display. It is an LCD panel, found in devices in the 10k budget. The device has a dot notch with a thick chin, which is a bit odd. The display is good, but Motorola could have sprung for the FHD+ display found in Redmi devices.
Performance
The Moto One Macro comes with a Helio P70. It is a very good processor that is better than the Snapdragon 665 and is quite similar to the Snapdragon 660. It can handle heavy tasks with ease. The processor also handle AI well and uses AI better than Snapdragon.
Camera
The Moto One Macro comes with a triple camera, a 12 megapixel primary camera, a 2 megapixel depth sensor and a 2 megapixel macro sensor. It has good cameras, but currently in the 10k budget, 4 cameras, including a wide angle sensor is common. The device has B+ cameras according to it's range.
Verdict
The Moto One Macro comes with a powerful processor, an average display and good cameras. It is quite competitive and the device is a good attempt and gives other brands competition. The device however is not the obvious choice under 10k.
