Honor 20i



The Honor 20i was introduced in April of 2019 as part of it's attempt to capture some of the hotly contested budget segment. Let us see whether the latest device from Honor is able to do just that.

Design


The Honor 20i comes with a glossy design with a special kind of gradient separating the device from the common cluster. It looks quite nice and makes it appealing to the young people. The device seems to follow on the common design philosophy of Honor borrowed from parent company Huawei. It may get scuffs and you should either use a skin or a case to preserve the beautiful design.

Display


The Honor 20i comes with a 6.21 inch FHD+ display. It has an LCD Panel found in most devices in it's budget. The device's display is very good and can handle all kinds of colors with ease with good blacks and good dynamic viewing experience. The display is quite good but lacks the features of an Amoled display.

Performance


The 20i comes with a Kirin 710 processor from Hi-Silicon which is the homegrown brand of Huawei. The processor is very powerful and can perform quite well. It is comparative to the 7 series processors from Snapdragon. The processor can handle most tasks with ease and is a very powerful and efficient processor according to it's price.

Cameras


The Honor 20i comes with a triple camera setup with a primary 24 megapixel camera, a 8 megapixel ultra wide camera and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. The device has a good set of cameras that really trump the competition in the night mode scenario. The device may lose out only to 48 megapixel camera devices from Realme and Xiaomi present in the budget.

Verdict

The Honor 20i comes with a good camera setup, a great processor and a good enough display and considering the price of 11k, if you don't have issues with devices from Huawei, do buy this great device.

So,for this special occasion I am reviewing a device which is wildly under appreciated and one which has actually helped Google a lot even though it may not seem so. Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is the flagship device from Samsung for the year 2020. Let us see whether the device actually seems to be worth it's price and whether you should consider purchasing it.
