Are Megapixels Really that important?

Today we will be discussing whether megapixels in a smartphone cameras are really important. Most of the cameras of this day and age in the budget segment have 48 or 64 megapixel cameras. For some People this is overkill, but is it actually important to have higher megapixel counts in smartphone cameras anymore?

The answer is no, because in smartphones the cameras depend on hardware and software. In most high end cameras they have good hardware and amazing software tuning. Most large companies such as Samsung, Apple and Google use 12 megapixel cameras with such refined software that they are the best cameras in this world.

This means that most budget companies consider higher megapixel cameras as a gimmick to create hype and muster sales so that they have increased profit. The truth is that Megapixel counts are not at all necessary for a good camera.

So,for this special occasion I am reviewing a device which is wildly under appreciated and one which has actually helped Google a lot even though it may not seem so. Design The Pixel 3a XL comes with a design similar to the Pixel 3 with the same design but with a simple difference in the build material. In this device, instead of glass, polycarbonate has been used for obvious cost cutting, but this has made the device appear the same but with increased durability.
