Xiaomi Redmi Note 8
\
The Redmi Note 8 was launched on 16th of October and it seems to have created an uproar in the budget segment. It is also the successor of the widely popular Redmi Note 7S. Let's see whether it lives up to the name of the ever so popular Note series by Xiaomi.
Display
The Redmi Note 8 comes with a 6.3 inch FHD+ Display with 403 ppi and 450 nits of maximum brightness. The phone comes with an LCD display which is a good display but there could have been a 720p Amoled display if Xiaomi would have wanted. But in terms of an LCD display it is good in quality.
Design
The Redmi Note 8 comes with a glass back which feels and looks very premium considering the price of the device. It also comes with Gorilla Glass 5 protection in back as well as the front. It also comes with a 4000 Mah battery and also comes with a 18 watt fast charger in the box. This is truly very good.
Performance
The Redmi Note 8 comes with a Snapdragon 665 which is the processor found on rivals such as the Realme 5, Mi A3. The processor is a bit weaker in comparison to the Snapdragon 660 but is adequate for light gaming.
Camera
The Redmi Note 8 comes with an array of quad cameras with a primary, wide angle, macro, telephoto lens. The Primary sensor is a 48 megapixel camera made by Samsung. It is not as great as the Sony sensor but has more dynamic range and quality in comparison to the 12 megapixel sensors.
Verdict
The Redmi Note 8 is one of the best phones present in the budget range now. It has good cameras, a good display and a mordern design. It is very competitive and also has 4 GB 64 GB variant as standard. The price is from rupees 10000 and for this price it is the best deal under 10k.
