As the heading suggests the Iphone xr is the new flagship killer which coincidentally is also a flagship. Let us understand this whole matter in detail.

Design

The Iphone xr comes with a glass build with stainless steel sides to provide the maximum feel of luxury. It comes in 6 different colors which add to the overall aesthetic of the device and increase the style factor of the device, making it ideal for the modern millennial who likes to have a flashy yet contemporary and fresh design away from the blacks and whites of the days.

Display

The Iphone XR features a 6.1 inch liquid retina display. In reality it is an LCD panel which seems like a bit of a downgrade when compared to other phones in it's budget that have 1080p or 1440p Amoled displays. This may seem like a con but in reality it is one of the best LCD displays out there. They have good colors, they are very efficient and have 326ppi which isn't too bad for it's price.

Performance

The Iphone XR sports the famed apple a12 bionic chip made in house by apple. In case of performance it is as good as the Snapdragon 845 it's competitor from Snapdragon. They age very well and the best part of the device can be said to be its performance which is maintained a long way down the road.

Camera

The Iphone Xr sports a single camera in the day and age of triple or quad cameras. It sports a 12 megapixel main camera and a 7 megapixel selfie camera. The quality of the camera is as good as the Flagships from Samsung or Google. The software and processing of Apple seems to shine again.

Verdict

With the introduction of the Iphone 11 the price of the Xr comes down to $600-650 which makes the phone an instant hit within the budget flagships. If you're an android user switching to the Apple ecosystem I recommend the Iphone XR....
